Today has been a busy day.. First i would like to thank everyone for their continued support. The site is growing by the day. I have decided that with the addition of out of state agencies to change the name to Mid - Atlantic Fire Feeds, or MAFireFeeds.com for short. All links will still work from mdfirefeeds.com no need to change or update bookmarks. Also thank you to all the listeners that helped us reach our goal. We are going to start a campaign that if we reach our goal every month then the following month will have a 12 hour cut off time. Instead of a 4 hour. The restriction for February will be removed on Sunday the first of the month. Thanks again for the support.
Also Baltimore County, MD We are need of a host badly. I am looking for a fire company or a person that would be interested in hosting the feed. The cost of the scanner and a computer if one is not already available is the only upfront cost. If a fire company would like to host the feed advertising stating the feed is hosted by your dept will be placed on MAfirefeeds.com at this time we are unsure how much longer the current provider will be able to keep the feed alive. Also were looking to boost the Baltimore City feed by adding a analog scanner to take care of the dispatch channels. Which would leave the Digital 800mhz open for working events.
